I’m one of the fortunate few to have gained something positive from the pandemic. In Lockdown, I found myself stuck at home with a toddler and wanted to find something to do that would occupy my time and mind. I invested in a new mixer and started experimenting with recipes. Over time my baking improved to the point where my husband gave me a big push to start selling cookies.

It was always my ambition to start a small business that I could run around my family but one I would also enjoy. After finding the perfect cookie recipe and achieving a 5 star hygiene rating, my biggest challenge was to find a name for the business – I’m 6 foot tall, so I thought why not ‘The Tall Cookie Lady’.

My cookies are inspired by a variety I’ve tried in New York City. I source local ingredients, don’t use additives and always bake fresh. The cookies can be posted UK wide and we are attending many events in the future.
